4' Excerpt from Bird Time

Short film based on short story by the same name. Excerpt from short story:

        The place is humid, is a place where the cities end and where the men collapsed. The memory has faded deeper into the concrete buildings, where some men decide for the rest where to store such valueble gift. Memory. In this place the people walk fast, without looking, with empty hearts.

         This place resembles a city. Look closer-- deeper-- into the skylights. Aim towards the street-- it smells like wet pavement . There is people walking. There is a man-- he walks-- he bangs the street with a long white stick. His memories are build in a different manner than the common man. He's life is based on a linear routine. He feels time, but cannot be precise. He speaks, but he rather smell.

         On this day he is particular happy, he enjoys the humid air on his skin, and the smell of wet pavement. He bangs the white stick proudly, for there is no man who feels the same way on this humid day.  

           On the same street, not far from the man, a woman is convinced she is walking her dog, but the dog walks her. She walks with a firm, hastily step, and with a rather arrogant putrid air.
